Les écoles ont généralement de grands bâtiments et des parkings qui créent un ruissellement considérable des eaux pluviales. Ces surfaces imperméables rendent nécessaires des exutoires d'eaux pluviales, des fossés de drainage et des zones de rétention/rétention.
