About Motz Enterprises

Jim and Marjorie Motz, of Motz Enterprises, have been in business together for over 25 years.  First, their business was in the landscape industry with a sod farm.  Later Motz Enterprises, Inc. expanded into more commercial grading and seeding work, installing irrigation systems, excavating ponds, and constructing waterfalls. It was the work with controlling erosion around ponds where the concept and the need for Flex-a-mat was developed.  About a year later Fortress Rocks were introduced for retaining walls.  The two products go well together; Flex-a-mat makes the perfect base for the Fortress Rock walls.  Motz Enterprises, Inc. continues to develop innovative products for lakeshore erosion control and stream bed erosion control.
